Wheeler's displacement is 1,630 standard and is 2,395 when fully loaded with a top speed of 37.4 knots and a horsepower of 50,000 HP, armaments are 4 main battery 5 inch 127 millimeter guns, 4 Bofors 40 millimeter guns, 7 Oerlikon 20 millimeter guns, 10 torpedo tubes and 6 depth charges 4 K-gun throwers and 2 tracks. She is also part of "The Oddball Trio" that accompanies the Joshua and the Miller in the Pacific's Freedom Fleet and is captained by Richard W. Benson and is prepared to add support against the Abyssal Fleet.
